Yes, this policy meets all the requirements for the visa application process in Spain, including the mandatory coverages. You can submit it with complete peace of mind.

The documentation is issued within the first 24 hours after the policy is activated. If any pre-existing conditions are declared, the assessment department may take between 24 and 72 hours to contact you for a review. In that case, we will issue the documentation once you’ve confirmed the declared conditions or procedures with them during the medical questionnaire process. But don’t worry, we do everything we can to speed up the process and, in most cases, we’re able to issue the documentation at the time of registration. Our goal is to have everything ready for you as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Yes, health insurance policies have a duration of 12 months and are automatically renewed. If you decide not to renew it, you only need to inform us at least one month in advance. It’s also important to note that, in the event your visa is denied, if you provide us with the official resolution document, we can request an early cancellation so that the policy does not become a burden for you.

Pre-existing conditions are health issues that the insured person had before signing the policy. That is, illnesses or disorders that have already been diagnosed or existed at the time of purchasing the insurance.

Yes, you have access to the entire Sanitas medical network. You can book an appointment directly with the specialist you need by calling the health center or hospital of your choice. Sanitas has one of the most extensive medical networks, ensuring you a wide range of care options.
Yes, the policy covers medical emergencies abroad up to €12,000 per insured person per year, so you’re protected wherever you go. In addition, you can contact a doctor in Spain via video call for less urgent consultations, thanks to our digital coverage. To benefit from this service, your stay abroad must not exceed 90 days.
It takes effect on the 1st day of the month you choose when you sign up.
